Jean Slavin
Jean Slavin MSc (Man Ther) MMACP MCSP
Jean trained as a chartered physiotherapist at Manchester Royal Infirmary Physiotherapy School and qualified in 1986. She has worked in the Midlands and Bedfordshire areas within the NHS in a wide variety of physiotherapy specialities and in privately run Sports Injuries clinics in the Milton Keynes area. Jean specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 1989 and became a clinical specialist in spinal conditions in 1998. She now works within the NHS as an extended scope physiotherapist in spinal and lower limb conditions. Jean studied acupuncture in 2000 and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
She gained accreditation for membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) in 2003 and a Masters degree in Manipulative Therapy at Coventry University in 2005.
Her clinical interests include spinal conditions, work related injuries, sports injuries and womens health. Presented research at The National Back Collaborative Conference by invitation. Has presented at National Back Pain Seminars.
