Joanna Laurence
Joanna Laurence qualified as a physiotherapist gaining a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy at Kings College University in London in 2002. She has remained an active member of the Health Professional Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy throughout her career.
Since qualifying Joanna has worked in the NHS for Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust where she specialised in neuromusculoskeletal outpatients treating a range of acute and chronic conditions. During this time, Joanna has attended many courses, developing her clinical skills and knowledge in assessing and treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She is a certified APPI Pilates Instructor and has the experience of teaching Pilates on a 1:1 level and class setting to clients in the community. Joanna has also had experience of treating clients in the hydrotherapy setting working in the NHS and private sector. She has recently decided to move over to the private sector joining the St. Jude's Physiotherapy Clinic team in early 2007. During the last three years of her career she has specialised in neuromusculoskeletal outpatients, and has a special interest in assessing and treating abnormal movement patterns through the Pilates approach.
