PAUL GOUGHD.Pod.M. M.Ch.S. S.R.Ch. Podiatrist - Registered with the Health Professions Council Paul qualified as a State Registered Chiropodist at the London Foot Hospital and also became a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Initially he worked in Private Practice, but later joined the NHS to develop his skills further. He was formerly Professional Head of Service and Chief Clinician for West Hertfordshire's NHS Service, in 2001 he left the NHS to concentrate on developing his private practice and to allow him to spend more time with his son. He has worked within most specialities in chiropody, specialising in minor surgery and the treatment of 'at-risk' patients (patients suffering from health problems which place them and their feet at increased risk i.e. diabetes and vascular disease). Outside of Chiropody/podiatry he has a keen interest in motor racing (he has raced motorbikes), motorcycles, scuba diving, computing and reading. He joined the St Judes Clinic team in September 2002, where he offers both a Chiropody and a Podiatry service. He has also worked with Luton Town Football Club. Paul is one of the team who offers talks to local groups, GPs and corporate groups on foot health and biomechanics.
