I am a qualified therapist in both complementary and beauty treatments. Whilst already trained as a reflexologist, I recently completed an advanced reflexology course to specialise in Maternity Reflexology. Reflexology has now become my main therapy. I find reflexology truly fascinating and am lucky enough to really love the work that I do. I still find myself excited and amazed at the difference that reflexology can make for each of my clients I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and appear as a qualified therapist on their website www.fht.org.uk . The FHT require all members to display evidence of continued professional development. Whilst I continue to pursue my Reflexology CPD, I am now pleased to be working in a multidisciplinary team setting, where I can extend my understanding of other therapies by working with other clinicians experienced in their own field. Adapting Reflexology for Hospice & Cancer Care I have now completed the above course and can treat patients sympathetically using a range of techniques which are safe for use on those undergoing or recently completed treatment for cancer. |
