St Judes Clinic Open Day Saturday 6th October 2007 - Annabel Croft comes to St Judes.

Keep Moving, Keep Living was this year's theme for Back Care Awareness Week, and the many people that attended our Open Day picked up loads of tips from our team on ways to do just that.
Ms. Annabel Croft, who was our special guest for the event, spoke about feeling like she was in a "sweet shop" with all that there was to view and sample in the clinic. Ms. Croft toured the clinic with her husband, former round-the-world yachtsman, Mel Coleman.
They spoke to the staff about how Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Massage, Reflexology, and exercise can all help combat back pain and the many ways in which we can all help ourselves prevent back pain.
They got involved in the Pilates demonstration and watched our Podiatrist checking willing participants' foot and lower leg alignments to ascertain any effect altered alignments may have on the back. They found out why computers can literally be "a pain in the neck" and how we can prevent "work stopping our play".
Ms. Croft tried her hand at our Nutritional Quiz and thoroughly enjoyed her Reflexology taster session.
Finishing up her time with us, Ms. Croft answered questions from our guests about her time in tennis and her views on the current game. Several of our guests, from the local Tennis Clubs, could have kept her talking all day, I feel, but we had to draw proceedings to a close.
Ms. Croft, in summing up, said that she had had a most enjoyable and interesting morning, and was very happy to have attended such an event, at a Clinic of such excellent repute.
